Friendly staff and clean rooms. Beach access was easy and the pool was nice. The elevator was out of order during our stay, making it difficult to carry luggage up three flights of stairs. Breakfast options were limited.

Location is perfect, just steps from the beach. Breakfast could use more variety, no eggs available. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Parking can get tight.

The room was spacious and mostly quiet. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights. We enjoyed a fantastic view of the Intracoastal Waterway from our window. Temperature control was effective, giving a pleasant ambiance. the air conditioning dripped, causing slippery spots on the balcony. Bathroom tiles were cracked, and the floor felt unsteady, indicating maintenance issues. Breakfast was nice, with a decent variety. Wobbly tables in the room and breakfast area were a minor inconvenience. a pleasant experience, but several improvements are needed for maximum comfort.

Ocean view from the balcony was amazing. The indoor pool was chilly, making it hard to enjoy.

Stunning ocean views and convenient beach access. Indoor and outdoor pools enhance the experience, especially off-season. Renovations are underway, which is promising; too many places neglect upkeep. Staff was responsive and accommodating, promptly replacing our non-functioning fridge. cleanliness needs attention. The shower only provided two minutes of hot water, and the indoor pool temperature was disappointing. Breakfast was basic, but ample. No telephone in the room was odd, and the noise from renovations was palpable, albeit not disruptive. Attention to these details would elevate this place significantly. Worth a visit, but improvement is essential for future stays.

The hotel is just steps away from the beach, making it super easy to soak in the sun or take a stroll along the shore, and it's also surrounded by local restaurants and shops that offer amazing food and unique finds, like the ice creamery and the coffee shop, which are all within a short walk, which was great for us as we loved exploring;

Great beach access and pool, but musty room with loud air conditioning.

Just a balanced option for a flash visit in Ocean Isle Beach with good price-value balance. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The pool was closed for maintenance with no heads-up, which was a huge letdown for my kids. It felt like a sneaky move, especially when you're promising amenities that aren’t available!

Location was a major highlight, right by the ocean with a lovely breakfast view. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay enjoyable despite the inn’s dated appearance. While the hot tub was a small but delightful touch, it was frustrating to be placed in a handicap room when expecting a standard; kids needed a tub. The air conditioning was noisy, and the TV had issues, but it’s a beach spot—you don’t come for that! It’s clean and charming enough, though I wouldn’t mind seeing some improvements on the amenities.

The Islander Inn is perfectly situated just steps from the beach, making it an ideal spot for sun-seekers. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient during check-in. Despite some minor issues, we loved the tranquil environment and plan to return.

The beach access is unbeatable—just steps away! I loved the clean pools where we relaxed and soaked up the sun. Plus, the friendly staff made our stay feel like a home away from home.
Can't recommend highly enough! 🥰🌊

This inn offers amazing beachfront access and is just an 8-minute walk to the iconic pier, making it super easy to enjoy both the sun and seaside fun, plus it's close to great places like Happy Hours and Ocean Isle Creamery, within a short stroll of less than 1 kilometer for your coffee fix and tasty snacks; the staff is friendly and the breakfast is a nice bonus, but the hotel could improve in handling small requests and maintenance for a more seamless stay.

The ocean view is stunning and the breakfast has a great variety. The renovations are nice and make the place feel fresh with decent bathroom supplies.
The staff could be friendlier.

The indoor pool was a hit with the kids, they couldn't get enough of it. Breakfast had choices for everyone, even picky eaters like my son.
It wasn’t the cheapest stay, but you get what you pay for.

The ocean view rooms were clean and cozy, with a balcony for enjoying the beach vibes. The location right on the beach made it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Plus, the free breakfast and good coffee added a nice touch to start the day off right!
The check-in process was a bit chaotic, with some rooms not being cleaned on time. The staff seemed overwhelmed and the service was a bit lacking in terms of attention to detail.

Our family had a fantastic time at the nearby The Pearl Golf Links, featuring two beautiful and impeccably maintained courses , The Pearl East and The Pearl West , designed by golf architect Dan Maples. The picturesque setting and challenging holes provided a memorable experience for golf enthusiasts of all levels.
For dads, it would be great if there were more family, friendly activities onsite.

Great location and friendly staff. Beds are too worn out and noisy.

Our xmas stay was a cozy experience. The rooms, always cleaned extremely well, made us feel right at home. The beachfront location was perfect for watching the sunrise over the ocean.
Some aspects could be improved, such as the limited breakfast options. Adding some variety like hard-boiled eggs and gluten-free items would enhance the dining experience.

stayed at the islander inn and was pleasantly surprised. the room was very clean and roomy with a king size bed, couch, desk, and chair. the AC worked great, keeping the room cool even in August. the gazebo was perfect for listening to the ocean at night, and the indoor pool and hot tub provided a nice option during cold months. the staff was lovely and the beach access was easy. overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Couldn't find any faults at all 🙂

My friends and I had a blast hitting up the super cool Carolina golf courses like The Pearl Golf Links. The layout was sick and we felt like pro golfers for a day, plus the views were totally Instagram-worthy!
Would've been awesome if there was a happening nightlife spot for young party animals like us to keep the good times rolling post-golf! .

Brrr. The layout was a bit confusing, with lots of stairs and only one sad elevator near the lobby building. And don't get me started on the trek through multiple doors in the rain! On the bright side, the continental breakfast had a nice ocean view from the breakfast room. The gazebo by the ocean was pretty sweet, and the hot tub was a cozy little spot to unwind. The daily housekeeping was a nice touch too, especially coming back to a clean room after a sandy beach day. Loved being so close to the beach and having parking right there. Now, the construction situation. yikes. Halls and rooms being painted right next to us was a bit much. Plus, navigating drop cloths with my two disabled friends was no walk in the park. And the caution tape around the sink in the room? Not a great look. Oh, and those thin towels? Definitely not luxury hotel quality. And having to ask for fresh washcloths by leaving the used ones outside the door? A bit inconvenient, especially for us ladies needing more than two washcloths. the place has potential, but some improvements are needed, like better temperature control in the pool area, clearer signage for navigating the buildings, and a heads-up about ongoing renovations. A little extra attention to details like towel quality and housekeeping practices would go a long way.

I had the pleasure of dining at the scenic Isles Restaurant and Tiki Bar, enjoying a wealth of opportunities at the beach, and playing golf at The Pearl. Love basking in the sun on my private strip of sand.
I just adored walking 40 steps up to the 4th floor with no working elevator! So delightful, really.

Great sized rooms, awesome TVs, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor pools, beach access.
Felt cared for, nothing too much trouble.

The proximity to Museum of Coastal Carolina was the main reason for choosing the Islander Inn, but the unexpected compliance with PCI-DSS requirements was a pleasant surprise. The wealth of leisure options, including lounging on the balcony or playing in the ocean, made the stay enjoyable.
Lack of professionalism and cleanliness.
